The Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 will start on November 22 and run till December 17.
Organised by popular video game company KRAFTON, the BMPS 2023 is an online and offline A-Tier eSports tournament to be hosted in India.
Team SouL won the first season of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series held in May-June 2022. Goblin was named the MVP of the BGMI tournament.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2023 schedule and format
The Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2023 will be staged in two phases - the league stage and the Grand Finals.
A total of 96 BGMI teams will compete in the BMPS 2023. These 96 participating teams have been divided into two groups - Group Blue and Group Red.
These 48 teams in Group Blue have been further split into six groups of eight each. Similarly, the other 48 teams in Group Red have been divided into six groups of eight each.
The league stage of the BMPS 2023 will be held online in a round-robin format from November 22 to December 9.
As per the BMPS 2023 schedule, five games will be played on each day of the league stage. The first and fifth matches of the BGMI tournament will be competed on the Erangel map, while the remaining three will take place in Miramar, Sanhok, and Vikendi.

Match 5 - Erangel
Meanwhile, each team will play a total of 15 matches in the league stage. Every participant will be rewarded bonus points based on their rank on the weekly scoreboard. Additionally, groups will also be reshuffled every week.
The top 16 teams at the end of the league stage from the overall points table (Week 1 + 2 + 3) will advance to the Grand Finals.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2023 prize pool
The Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2023 has a total prize pool of INR 1 crore. Krafton has reduced the total prize pool from INR 2 crore offered in the first season last year.
Meanwhile, the winner of BMPS will receive a cash prize of INR 40 lakh while the runner-up will get INR 20 lakh.
