For some time now, BGMI enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of the upcoming BGMI 3.1 update from Krafton, known for their bi-monthly major updates, each bringing a distinct theme and significant enhancements to the classic mode of the game.
The previous update, BGMI 3.0, introduced the enthralling Shadow Force Theme Mode on January 25, which injected fresh gameplay elements.
Among its highlights was the Samurai Sword feature, allowing players to strategically block bullets, and providing tactical advantages.
Furthermore, new tools like a clone summoning device and grappling hook were introduced, boosting mobility and adding strategic depth to battles.
Valentine's Day in February saw BGMI 3.0 add more unique features such as tandem bicycle rides and Valentine's Day effects to the battlefield.
Players could also engage in play-and-win challenges to earn coveted rewards like the Urbane Captain Set and Desert Taskforce Set, alongside Classic and Supply Crate Coupons, among others.
Notably, the Shadow Altar spin feature provided the chance to obtain the sought-after Shinobi Kami M416 skin. Indian cricket team star Hardik Pandya also made a special appearance in it.

BGMI next update release date
The BGMI next update release date has been confirmed to be on March 25, 2024. The update known as the BGMI 3.1 update will be released on March 25 for both Android and iOS users.
The release time for the BGMI 3.1 update is scheduled to be between 5 AM to 7 AM IST. This new update will center around Arabian Nights theme, introducing a new mode based on the aforementioned theme, where players can expect to explore stunning Arabian-style buildings, with promises of a fresh visual and gameplay experience within the familiar map.
The BGMI 3.1 update is also expected to bring forth several other exciting features. A few of these are the introduction of an upgraded P90 weapon, available in Air Drops.
The P90 is basically a potent submachine gun equipped with a built-in holographic sight that excels in close-quarters combat.
The update expects to debut the A6 Royale Pass as well, featuring a new female 100 RP outfit. Gamers would also have to conquer Nimbus Island, a brand-new Point of Interest (POI) packed with loot, showcasing their prowess in gameplay.
Another anticipated addition is flying ships, serving as aerial platforms offering valuable loot and strategic landing spots for battles.
