Team Vitality and ALDI celebrate women in esports with Rising Day event

On March 8th, Team Vitality and ALDI will host Rising Day to promote women in esports for International Women’s Day. This free event aims to empower female gamers and create a supportive community. It is scheduled for 2 PM to 5 PM CET at Team Vitality’s office in Paris.
What will happen in the Rising Day event?
Rising Day will feature various activities to inspire and engage guests. One of the main events is a roundtable discussion called ‘The Future of Women in Esports.’ This session will include famous players and industry leaders, such as streamer Minaleyy and TV host Marie Palot.
They will discuss the importance of support programs for women, the growth of women’s matches, and career options. It will also cover the toxicity in social media and gaming domains.
Speakers will share insights about creating a safer gaming setting and the importance of mental health for female players. Strategies for dealing with negativity online and highlight the need for mental preparation before matches will also be tackled. After the roundtable, guests can meet Team Vitality’s all-female League of Legends team, the Rising Bees.
Another exciting part of the event is the interactive gaming experience ‘Rise and Compete.’ Guests can play games with the team, join esports quizzes, and complete challenges.
At 4:30 PM, attendees can enjoy a professional-style photoshoot in Team Vitality apparel. Moreover, a whole-day collaborative fresco will allow them to create art about the future of esports.
Team Vitality’s commitment to women in esports
Team Vitality has been committed to supporting women in esports for four years. It partnered with ALDI in 2023 to rebrand Rising Bees and to promote diversity, where they aim to build a more fair and inclusive esports community.
Fabien ‘Neo’ Divide, Team Vitality’s president and co-founder, said, ‘Esports should be a place where everyone can grow, thrive, and shine. Through Rising Day, we hope to raise awareness, inspire, and create a supportive environment where players can reach their full potential.’
