In an unexpected turn at the Serbia-based FISSURE Special game, Mosquito Clan’s David ‘Parker’ Nicho Flores fell asleep during the match draft. The game, held on Monday, April 7, was against the powerhouse team OG. Mosquito Clan faced a technical defeat.

The pause happened early in the draft phase when the admins gave the match a 10-minute pause. During that time, Parker wasn’t able to respond to his team. Mosquito Clan tried replacing him with another stand-in, Roman ‘RAMZES666’ Kushnarev, but the request was denied as Parker is already a substitute.

With no other choice, Mosquito Clan had to forfeit the match, giving OG a 2-0 win by default. The team took to X (formerly Twitter) the story of their defeat, saying the match was scheduled at 5 am Peru time—Parker’s home country. They also apologised to fans and promised to return with a more prepared roster.

Parker’s infamous Dota 2 history

This isn’t the first time Parker has drawn attention in the esports scene. In late 2024, his former team, HEROIC, kicked him due to conflicts over team strategy during ESL Bangkok 2024.
