Here are the steps to be followed to survive fire damage in Fortnite and unlock Doom Battle Pass:
Ensure you are at full health: Gamers need to ensure that they start the game in full health and with proper shields in order to survive fire damage without being eliminated. If players are not at full health and without adequate shields, they can die before finishing the task.
Locate a gas station: On the map, the various gas stations are marked with a white fuel pump icon. In case the icon is missing, players need to drive a vehicle to consume some fuel or deal damage which will solve the issue. The most recommended gas is between Restored Reels and Reckless Railways. However, any gas station will work.
Destroy the gas pump: After going to the gas station, destroy the fuel pump at the gas station with the help of a gun, pickaxe or any other item such as Marvel weapons like War Machine's Arsenal or Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets.
Enter the fire: After the gasoline pump explodes, a small fire will be left following the explosion. Now stand in the fire as you start receiving damage. Ensure you walk in and out of the fire four times to ensure you take the necessary four instances of fire damage. This method is extremely authentic because the fire remains active for a while which will give you sufficient time to accomplish the quest.
Exploding vehicles, torches or campfires are some of the other alternative methods from where you can take fire damage. Since these methods do not offer an uninterrupted source of fire, it makes it difficult for gamers to take damage numerous times. Hence, players are advised to follow the gas station method for the most consistent results.
