BMPS winners list: Know all the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series champions

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) is one of India’s high-profile eSports events.

Organised by Krafton and Tesseract Esports, the inaugural edition of the BMPS was staged from May 19, 2022 to June 12, 2022.

As many as 24 top Battlegrounds Mobile India teams competed in the first edition of the BMPS online.

Global Esports, Big Brother Esports, Initiative Academy, Inside Out, Hydra, GOG Esports, Team SouL, Team XO, Enigma Gaming, Blind eSports, Autobotz Esports, Retribution RTR, OREsports, Esports Wala, Walkouts, UP50 Esports, 7Sea Esports, Marcos Gaming, Team Kinetic, R ESPORTS, Hyderabad Hydras, Nigma Galaxy, ACBC Esports and FS Esports participated in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series Season 1.

The inaugural season of the BMPS offered a whopping prize pool of INR 2 crore. The winner of the marquee eSports tournament bagged a cash prize of INR 75 lakh while the runner-up received INR 35 lakh. The third-placed team was awarded INR 20 lakh.

Team SouL later emerged as inaugural Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series champions after they pipped OREsports and Enigma Gaming.

After a successful first season, the second season of BMPS witnessed a total of 96 teams compete in the popular Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series.

These participating teams were divided into two groups - Group Blue and Group Red.

The 48 teams in Group Blue were further split into six groups of eight each. Similarly, the other 48 teams in Group Red were also divided into six groups of eight each.

The league stage of the BMPS 2023 was held online in a round-robin format from November 22 to December 9.

The BMPS 2023 Grand Finals was staged at the Eka Arena in Ahmedabad from December 15-17.

Meanwhile, Krafton reduced the total prize pool for BMPS 2023 to INR 1 crore from INR 2 crore offered in the first season.

The winner of BMPS 2023 received a cash prize of INR 40 lakh. The runner-up claimed INR 20 lakh while the third-placed bagged INR 10 lakh.

Blind eSports later won the second edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series after they edged Gladiators Esports and Gladiators Esports to clinch the coveted BMPS title.

The third edition of the BMPS began on August 20, 2024. As many as 128 BGMI teams featured in the league stage of the tournament.

The BMPS 2024 Grand Finals is scheduled to be held at the Adlux International Convention Center in Kochi from September 27-29. Get BMPS winners list.
