BGMI tier list: All you need to know about Battlegrounds Mobile India ranking system

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is one of the most popular battle royale games in India.

Developed and published by South Korean video game company Krafton, BGMI is an online multiplayer battle royale game that was first released for Android devices on July 2, 2021. It was later launched for iOS users on August 18, 2021.

While BGMI has over 100 million downloads on Google Play store, it was banned by the Indian government in July 2022 citing security concerns. The ban was later removed in May 2023.

As many as 100 gamers can compete in the Indian version of PUBG Mobile. The one who survives in the TPP-FPP survival shooter game is the winner. Individuals or a team of up to four gamers can play a match in BGMI.

The popular eSports video game, BGMI can be played as solo, duo, or squad. To make the game more interesting, gamers may add teammates to compete as a duo or a squad. 

BGMI players often work hard to obtain a good rank on the leaderboard. Most of the player base participate in rank play to reach the Conqueror Tier.

Battlegrounds Mobile India ranking system includes different tiers, rewards. BGMI has 10 classes of tiers for ranking its players. Players will rank higher on the leaderboard if they accumulate maximum points from competing in classic matches. Get BGMI tier list.

Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Crown have been further split into five sub ranks. These sub-ranks begin at V and conclude at I where V is the lowest while I is the highest.

For example, Gold V is the lowest rank in Gold Tier while Gold I is the top rank. 

Meanwhile, the tiers are restored to a lowest rank at the start of every season. This allows players to compete for the highest ranks again. 

The higher the player finishes, the more points will be subtracted before a new season in BGMI.

In order to rank up faster, players must accumulate maximum points at the end of every match.

Apart from surviving for the longest time, finishes, distance covered, damage, healing, airdrop supplies and revives are other factors that dictate the total points awarded to a player after every game.
