The Zimbabwe vs Pakistan T20 2024 series will start in Bulawayo on Sunday, December 1.

As per the Zimbabwe vs Pakistan T20 2024 schedule, the upcoming three-match series will be played at the Queens Sports Club on December 1, 3 and 5.

Pakistan are currently placed seventh in the ICC men’s T20I team rankings while Zimbabwe are five spots below on 12th.

In the absence of T20I captain Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan will be led by Salman Ali Agha in the upcoming three-match T20I series in Bulawayo

Apart from Rizwan, Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah have also rested for the Zimbabwe tour.

Off-spin bowling all-rounder Qasim Akram has been included in Pakistan’s T20I squad. Right-arm pacer Mohammad Hasnain has also earned a berth in the T20I squad.

Pakistan suffered a 0-3 loss against Australia in their previous T20I series and will aim for an improved performance in the shortest format.

On the other hand, the Zimbabwe national cricket team will look to bounce back in the T20I series after going down in the 50-over format.

Under the leadership of Sikandar Raza, Zimbabwe impressed in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 sub-regional qualifier in Kenya last month. As a result, Zimbabwe have retained the squad that featured in that competition.

Trevor Gwandu, Tashinga Musekiwa and Tinotenda Maposa are some of the young faces who will aim to showcase their talent at the international level.

Craig Ervine, Sean Williams and Joylord Gumbie are a few notable omissions from the T20I squad.
