Zimbabwe are coming off a 2-1 T20I series win against Scotland at home. After losing the opening game, the Chevrons won the next two games to clinch the series. It was the first time they won consecutive T20I matches since October 2019.
In their last outing, Zimbabwe restricted Scotland to 177/4 after bowling first. When it was their turn to bat, the Chevrons scored 180/4 in 19.1 overs with Milton Shumba hammering a 29-ball 66.
Namibia, meanwhile, are also coming off a series win. The Eagles registered a 2-1 series win against Uganda in what was their first assignment since the T20 World Cup 2021.
Namibia, who were put to bat first, scored a formidable 185/7 in 20 overs. They would go on to bowl out Uganda for 133 and seal a 52-run victory. JJ Smit put on a match-winning display as he hit a 35-ball 71 and recorded a career-best 6/10 with the ball. He also took two catches.
