The second season of the Zim Afro T10 is scheduled to start on September 21 and will run till September 29 in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Organised by Zimbabwe Cricket, the Zim Afro T10 2024 will see as many as six teams compete for the title.

All the six Zim Afro T10 2024 franchises have signed their icon and global super stars as direct signings before going into the draft.

Bulawayo Braves Jaguars have roped in former Australia opening batter David Warner and West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite while England’s duo David Willey, Dawid Malan and Afghanistan’s Gulbadin Naib, Qais Ahmed have signed for Cape Town Samp Army.

Durban Wolves have acquired the services of New Zealand duo Colin Munro and Mark ChapmanSri Lanka’s Dasun Shanaka and New Zealand all-rounder James Neesham have joined the ranks of Harare Bolts.

Jo’Burg Bangla Tigers have picked Australia’s Chris Lynn, Sri Lankan duo Kusal PereraCharith Asalanka and Afghanistan’s Hazratullah Zazai while latest entrant NYS Lagos have signed Zimbabwe’s Blessing Muzarabani, Thisara Perera of Sri Lanka, Pakistan’s Asif Ali and Afghanistan middle-order batter Najibullah Zadran. Meanwhile, the Zim Afro T10 2024 player draft will allow teams to acquire some local talents to complete their 15-member squad with an additional 16th player as their global icon.

Each squad can include as many as six local Zimbabwe players while the icon and global players can also be from Zimbabwe.

The Zim Afro T10 2024 player draft will start at 2 PM IST on Sunday, September 8.

Live streaming of the Zim Afro T10 2024 player draft will be available on the tournament’s official YouTube channel.

There will be no live telecast of the Zim Afro T10 2024 player draft on any TV channel in India.
