The Women's U19 Tri-Nation Series in Sri Lanka 2024 is all set to get underway from March 28 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium (MRICS) in Hambantota.
Organised by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), the upcoming Tri-Nations series will see the likes of Sri Lanka, Australia, and England competing in both T20s and One-Day matches.
While the T20 games will be played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota, the One-Day encounters will be held at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.
All three teams will play four T20 contests and two 50-over encounters before the conclusion of the Tri-Nations series on April 9 and the winner of the tournament will be decided on the accumulated points based on game wins across both formats.
The upcoming Tri-Nations series will provide players from all three nations with an opportunity to prepare for the 2025 ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in Malaysia next year.
Australia have announced a 15-member squad for the series, while Sri Lanka have named a 16-member squad with Manudi Nanayakkara leading the Lankans while Rashmika Sewwandi will act as her deputy.
