The West Indies vs England ODIs 2024 will start on October 31 and run till November 6 in North Sound, Antigua.
West Indies are all set to host England for a three-match ODI series at home. The Caribbean tour will begin with the ODIs in Antigua before heading to Barbados for a five-match T20I series.
England are currently ranked sixth in the ICC Men’s ODI rankings, while the Windies are placed 10th on the standings.
Interestingly, the Caribbeans have practically named the same 15-member squad for the ODIs which lost a series against Sri Lanka recently.
Shimron Hetmyer, who last represented West Indies in ODIs in December 2023, will be making a comeback in the England series.
The left-handed batter will be replacing Alick Athanaze in the squad, who has been struggling with the bat recently.
Evin Lewis and Jewel Andrew have also made the squad which will be led by Shai Hope.
Meanwhile, England’s regular white-ball captain, Jos Buttler has been ruled out of the ODIs due to a calf injury he sustained earlier this year. Star all-rounder Liam Livingstone has been named the stand-in skipper for the series.
Surprisingly, Jordan Cox and Rehan Ahmed have been added to the squad after they were a part of the Test squad in the Pakistan tour.
As per the West Indies vs England ODIs 2024 schedule, West Indies will take on England in the first ODI on October 31. The final ODI of the series will be played on November 6.
All West Indies vs England ODIs 2024 matches will be played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound in Antigua.
