Hampshire and Somerset will lock horns in semi-final 2 of the Vitality T20 Blast 2022 at the Edgbaston, Birmingham on Saturday, July 16.
The one-and-a-half-month-long T20 Blast cricket tournament is at its business end, with four teams left in the title race.
While the second semi-final, Hampshire vs Somerset, is scheduled for 7:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) on July 16, the first semi-final between Yorkshire and Lancashire will be played at 3.30 PM IST at the same venue earlier on the day.
The Vitality T20 Blast 2022 final will also be played on the same day at the same venue from 11.15 PM IST.

Somerset and Hampshire are both from South Group, which had nine teams - Surrey, Somerset, Essex, Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Glamorgan, Sussex, Middlesex and Kent.
Somerset finished second on the T20 Blast South Group points table with 20 points from 14 games played. The team won 10 matches and lost four, and finished with a net run rate of +0.630.
In the quarter-final on July 9, Somerset beat Derbyshire by a mammoth 191 runs. They posted a first innings score of 265/5 and then restricted their opponents to 74/10.
Hampshire, on the other hand, finished fourth on the South Group points table with 18 points (nine wins) in 14 matches. They finished with a net run rate of 0.772.
The team played their quarter-final against Warwickshire, the table toppers of the North Group. Hampshire defeated Warwickshire by a whopping 104 runs after scoring 186/6 while batting first.
Both teams have been in formidable form in the later stages of the tournament and are unbeaten in their last five outings.

Somerset lead the head-to-head record against their South Group rivals by a 15-8 margin. In this season of the T20 Blast, however, the teams have won a game each.
In their encounter on May 30, Hampshire scored just 123 in their 20 overs, a target that was easily chased down by Somerset in 15.5 overs with four wickets in hand.
Their second encounter of the season on June 23 was a stark contrast to the earlier low-scoring game. Hampshire scored 208/5 in their 20 overs, and in response, Somerset got as close as 194/9 but failed to get over the finish line.
