Day three of the Virtual Five5 Cricket World Cup 2020 saw few thrillers among the 18 games that were played out throughout the day on April 9. In the following, we highlight some of the key moments from various games that took place on Thursday.

AFG v SA, Match 37: AFG win by 3 runs

AFG continued to be giant killers as they managed to beat SA by three runs in a fine game of cricket. SA elected to field but things didn't go their way as they conceded 50 runs, taking just one wicket. During the chase, they lost wickets at regular intervals to end up losing the game by three runs.

ENG v IND, Match 40: IND win by 10 runs

ENG opted to field but saw IND ramp up a tall score of 52, losing just two wickets in the five overs. ENG, in reply, got a bright start through James Buttler but lack of support for him meant they could not come close to troubling IND.
