The second day of the Virtual Five5 Cricket World Cup 2020 saw another 18 games being played out throughout the day, April 8. In the following we highlight some of the key moments from various games that took place on Wednesday.
AFG v ENG, Match 19: ENG win by 8 wickets
AFG may have beaten AUS on the first day but ENG brought them crashing back to reality with a comprehensive eight-wicket win after AFG could only post 41/4 in the 5 overs.
ENG v AUS, Match 22: ENG win by 3 runs
ENG opted to bat first and riding on James Buttler's 12-ball 20 posted a score of 55/3 in the allotted overs. In reply, Daniel Warner hit an unbeaten magnificent 14-ball 31 but could not see his side home and lost the game by three runs.
SL v PAK, Match 27: PAK win by 5 wickets
In a last-over finish, PAK held their nerve despite losing five wickets while chasing the target of 31 against SL. Only one PAK bowler conceded over 10 runs in their innings and despite SL bowler taking a wicket, they could home win the game.

AUS v IND, Match 29: AUS win by 2 runs
With three ducks and one single-digit score, AUS's scoreboard was dominated by Daniel Warner's 47* which had lifted their final score to 54/4. India looked in control of the target but fell short by just two runs in the end.
BAN v ENG, Match 30: ENG win by 36 runs
After opting to bat first on a belter of a pitch, Ian Morgan with a bulldozing strike-rate of 400 scored 44* taking ENG to a colossal score of 79/2. Mhd Mahmuduleh did find the ropes towards the end but BAN could only manage to reach 43/3.

NZ v AUS, Match 33: AUS win by 7 runs
NZ did well to put AUS in first and restricting them to 48/3. This was largely due to Michael Sentner who got the three wickets in the same over. In the second innings, a combined bowling effort restricted NZ to 41/3.
