The Ford Trophy 2024-25 will start on October 20 and run till March 2 in New Zealand.
As many as six teams will compete in a total of 32 50-over matches in Ford Trophy 2024-25.
Organised by New Zealand Cricket (NZC), the Ford Trophy is a List A domestic limited overs cricket competition.
Auckland Aces, Canterbury, Central Stags, Northern Districts, Otago Volts and Wellington Firebirds are the six teams that will compete for the Ford Trophy 2024-25 title.
As per the Ford Trophy 2024-25 schedule, each team will play the other five sides twice in a double round-robin format. A total of 30 league matches will be played.
The team placed at the top of the standings after all the league matches will directly qualify for the Ford Trophy 2024-25 final.
The second and third-placed teams will face each other in the Elimination final for the other spot in the summit clash.
The Ford Trophy 2024-25 final is scheduled to be played at the University Oval Cricket Ground in Dunedin on March 2.
Canterbury are the defending champions of the Ford Trophy after they defeated Auckland Aces by five wickets in the 2023-24 final. Canterbury are also the most successful team in the Ford Trophy history with 16 titles.
Auckland Aces are the second most successful side with 13 trophies while Wellington Firebirds have bagged eight titles.

Live streaming of the Ford Trophy 2024-25 will be available on the FanCode app and website in India.
There will be no live telecast of the Ford Trophy 2024-25 on any TV channel in India.
