After tight opening innings scores in the first Test, Abdullah Shafique took matters into his own hands for Pakistan in the second. The opening batter scored an unbeaten 160 off 408 balls as Pakistan emerged victorious by four wickets after chasing a 342-run target set by the hosts.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam scored an impressive ton and a half-century in the first while returning with a tally of 227 fantasy points. Top tip: Best bowler
Sri Lanka’s Prabath Jayasuriya was simply unplayable in the first match. The 30-year-old picked five wickets in the first innings and followed it up with a four-wicket haul while ending with nine wickets from the match. As a result, he accrued 216 fantasy points which is significantly more than any other bowler involved in this match.
Top tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper
Mohammad Nawaz, with six wickets in the first Test, proved to be quite an asset for fantasy managers, having tallied a total of 173 fantasy points. Given the nature of the surface of the Galle International Stadium, picking him for the second match would be a wise decision, to say the least.
For a wicket-keeper, Sri Lanka’s Dinesh Chandimal remains the outright pick. The veteran Sri Lankan scored some important runs for his team in the first Test as he returned with 211 fantasy points.
