Sharks XI (SHA) will lock horns with Tuskers XI (TUS) in match 29 of the Pondicherry T20 2021 at the Cricket Association Puducherry Siechem Ground on Saturday, August 21.
Led by Premraj Rajavelu, SHA are already in the Pondicherry T20 2021 semi-finals having won five of the eight matches played so far. With 20 points from eight matches, the Sharks XI are placed third on the points table.
Tuskers XI, on the other hand, have been inconsistent in the ongoing T20 tournament. The Parandaman Thamaraikannan-led side has won just three of their nine matches in the competition. TUS are currently placed fourth in the standings and need to beat Sharks XI in order to seal their place in the semi-finals.

Abeesh TA of Sharks XI will be the bowler to watch out for in the SHA vs TUS clash. The medium-pacer has picked 10 wickets in six matches at an economy of just seven. Abeesh will look to add a few more wickets to his name on Saturday.

For the wicket-keeper spot, Yash Yadav of Tuskers XI will be the preferred choice over Sharks XI’s Nipun Gaikwad.
