Defending champions Royal Tigers (ROT) will square off against Budapest Blinders (BUB) in the opening match of ECS T10 Hungary 2022 at GB Oval cricket ground in Szodliget, Hungary on Monday, June 13. The match will start at 12:00 PM IST (Indian Standard Time).
Led by captain Marc Ahuja, Royal Tigers defeated Budapest Blinders by eight wickets in the final to claim the ECS T10 Hungary title last season. Earlier, the Tigers had finished second in the league phase before beating Budapest Blinders in the Qualifier 1.
On the other hand, Budapest Blinders finished as league toppers with 10 points. However, the Blinders lost to Tigers in the Qualifier 1 before beating United Csalad in Qualifier 2 to advance to the summit clash.
