Perth Scorchers Women (PS-W) will lock horns with Brisbane Heat Women (BH-W) in match 5 of Women’s Big Bash League 2021 at the Blundstone Arena on Sunday, October 17.
PS-W vs BH-W Dream11 prediction
BH-W have enjoyed better results against PS-W in recent past, winning six of their last seven meetings, but the latter has made several additions to their team which now makes them a formidable unit. Given the nature of the pitch of Blundstone Arena, BH-W will be up for quite a task as PS-W have quality batters in the top order.
If they click together on Sunday, PS-W might as well get their second win over BH-W in three years.
PS-W vs BH-W Dream11 tips for Women’s Big Bash League 2021
Top tip: Best batter
PS-W’s Chamari Athapaththu will be the one to keep a keen eye on. She might not have played competitive cricket in almost a year, but she did end up as the top scorer in the Women’s T20 Challenge last year, scoring 117 runs in just three matches.
Top tip: Best bowler
A conundrum between PS-W’s Piepa Cleary and BH-W’s Poonam Yadav, but we would recommend going with the latter. While Cleary has been economical in her recent outings, she has failed to add more wickets to her tally. On the contrary, Poonam Yadav has scalped wickets and has been economical as well.
Top tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper
PS-W captain Sophie Devine is an outright choice for an all-rounder. The recipient of the player of the tournament award in the last two editions of WBBL, Devine has enjoyed a great run of form of late and is a great option for captaincy for fantasy users.
As for a wicket-keeper, PS-W’s Beth Mooney remains the most picked player. At 10.5 credits, she remains an expensive investment but is worth every penny.
