Despite being off the field and nursing an injury, Chennai all-rounder Dwayne Bravo is amongst the headlines. There’s something extremely special with the players of his ilk, to say the least. And Bravo, on his part, sure knows how to keep his teammates entertained.
His recent act was giving bowler Monu Singh a fresh trim ahead of Chennai’s clash against Kolkata at M. Chidambaram Stadium. It was on Monday that the Windies all-rounder decided to get things into his own hands. While in the team hotel, the two arrive in a room and Monu seems quite reluctant to get the job done.
Bravo convinces his teammate by saying if he doesn’t do well enough, he’d pay Monu Rs. 1 million. And just like that, Monu is now Chennai’s very own Max Payne…

As far as Bravo is concerned, he is out due to a grade 1 hamstring injury which he sustained during Chennai’s 37-run defeat to Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai team. The team has confirmed he will be staying out for two weeks.
Scott Kuggeleijn was called in place against Punjab last time out and the New Zealand all-rounder fit in perfectly by picking two wickets in his four overs.

Chennai’s next job lies against a Kolkata unit which boasts of some of the best hard-hitting batsmen of the industry. Chennai coach Stephen Fleming though believes that his opponents are rather a collective unit.
"Even though he has been so dynamic, there's still good work done by the other players. So, again, I stress it doesn't change our preparation to focus on one or two players, but we're acutely aware of how dangerous these players are so, it's business as usual for us," Fleming said.
