The Philippines Women's cricket team will host Singapore Women in a three-match T20 International (T20I) series starting on Wednesday, December 27.
As per the Philippines Women vs Singapore Women T20Is 2023 schedule, all three matches will be played at the Friendship Oval in Dasmarinas.
Philippines are ranked 64th while Singapore are placed 47th in the ICC Women’s T20I rankings.
Philippines Women last featured in the Southeast Asian Games 2023 women's cricket competition held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. They lost all three games to finish at the bottom of the standings in Group A.
On the other hand, the Singapore Women’s cricket team will aim to bounce back after failing to win a single game in the three-match T20I series against Myanmar Women in August.
Both sides have announced their squads ahead of the three-match T20I series.
Wicketkeeper-batter Catherine Bagaoisan will captain Philippines Women while Singapore Women will be led by Shafina Mahesh.
This will be the first meeting between Philippines Women and Singapore Women in T20I cricket.
Meanwhile, there will be no live streaming or telecast of the three-match T20I series between the Philippines Women and Singapore Women in India.
