The Pakistan Women vs South Africa Women T20 2024 series will start in Multan on Monday, September 16.

Bowling all-rounder Fatima Sana has been appointed the captain of Pakistan’s 15-member squad for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the squad for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 will feature in the three-match T20I series against South Africa.
Pakistan Women have made just a solitary change to the squad that competed in the Women’s Asia Cup 2024. Right-handed batter Sadaf Shamas has returned to Pakistan Women’s T20I squad in place of wicket-keeper-batter Najiha Alvi, who will travel to the UAE as a reserve player.
Ranked eighth in the ICC women’s T20I team rankings, Pakistan Women will look to return to winning ways after they lost to eventual champions Sri Lanka Women by three wickets in the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 semi-final.
On the other hand, the South Africa women's cricket team will be led by Laura Wolvaardt.
Uncapped leg-spinner Seshnie Naidu and seamer Ayanda Hlubi have been included in South Africa’s 15-member squad for the three-match T20I series in Pakistan. They will also feature in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 next month.
Currently ranked fifth in the ICC women’s T20I team rankings, South Africa last featured in a three-match T20I series against India which ended 1-1.
