The Oman vs Afghanistan A T20 series 2024 will kickstart in Oman on October 9.

Oman will host Afghanistan’s A team for an unofficial two-match T20 series to be played at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 1). 

The first T20 is scheduled to start on Wednesday at 02:30 PM IST. Live streaming for the series will be available in India. 

Meanwhile, the second T20 is slated to happen on Thursday, October 10, at the same time as the first, and both matches will be played at the same venue in Oman.

Oman was last seen in action in a tri-series T20 tournament in Canada which ended on October 3. Oman finished last in the series that was won by host Canada with Nepal coming second. 

Oman played a total of four matches, two each against both sides and managed their solitary win against Canada by eight wickets.

Before that Oman had also participated in the T20 World Cup 2024 that was held in the West Indies and the United States of America in June. But Oman could not win any of their four Group B matches at the showpiece event.

Oman are currently ranked 19th as per the International Cricket Council’s latest ranking list for teams in T20Is.
