Oakland Coliseum will host nine games for the MLC 2025

The Oakland Coliseum will host nine Major League Cricket games in 2025, starting with the opener on June 12 and three home games by San Francisco Unicorns. The stadium will receive changes, like drop-in pitches and a smaller seating capacity of 12,000.
The Major League Baseball stadium was also used for American football games.
‘The Coliseum is a fantastic location for Major League Cricket, and we are thrilled by the prospect of some of the world's biggest cricket stars playing in such an iconic Californian venue,’ Major League Cricket’s chief executive, Johnny Grave, stated in an interview.
Major League Cricket has used two venues since its founding in 2023. The first season was split into two venues: the Grand Prairie Stadium, Texas and the Broward County Stadium, Florida. The upcoming MLC 2025 will be another step towards the league’s growth.
