Nellai Royal Kings (NRK) will lock horns with Chepauk Super Gillies (CSG) in Qualifier 1 of Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2022 at the Salem Cricket Foundation Stadium on Wednesday, July 27. The game will start at 7:15 PM IST (Indian Standard Time).
Led by Baba Indrajith, Nellai Royal Kings have been the most dominant team in the ongoing edition of TNPL. With six wins and just one loss, NRK qualified for the playoffs after finishing at the top of the TNPL 2022 standings with 12 points from seven matches.
On the other hand, Chepauk Super Gillies finished second in the standings to book their place in the first qualifier of the ongoing T20 tournament. The Kaushik Gandhi-led side registered five victories and suffered two defeats as they accumulated 10 points from seven matches.
