The Nepal national cricket team will take on Canada in the first game of their second ICC CWC League 2 Tri-Series in Ontario, Canada on Monday, September 16.

Nepal later bounced back to beat the Netherlands by nine wickets at the same venue. However, the hosts later succumbed to defeats against Namibia and the Netherlands in their next two fixtures in their first tri-series of the ICC CWC League 2 2023-27.
Having registered one win and three losses, Nepal are currently placed seventh in the ICC CWC League 2 2023-27 standings with two points on the board.
On the other hand, the Canada national cricket team has been inconsistent in the ongoing ICC CWC League 2 2023-27.
With four victories and as many defeats, Canada are placed third in the ICC CWC League 2 2023-27 standings with eight points.
They last featured in an ODI tri-series that involved the United States and the Netherlands in Voorburg. The Nicholas Kirton-led Canada lost their matches in the series and will aim to bounce back at their home.
