The Nepal Premier League 2024 will start on November 30 and run till December 21 in Kirtipur, Nepal.
Organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal, the Nepal Premier League 2024 will see as many as eight teams compete in a total of 32 matches.
Biratnagar Kings, Janakpur Bolts, Karnali Yaks, Kathmandu Gurkhas, Lumbini Lions, Pokhara Avengers, Sudurpaschim Royals and Chitwan Rhinos are the eight teams that will participate in the inaugural edition of the NPL.
As per the NPL 2024 schedule, each team will play the other seven sides once in a single round-robin format. The top four teams in the standings after all the league matches will qualify for the playoffs.
The third-placed team will square off against the fourth-placed side in the Eliminator on December 18 while the top two teams will clash in the Qualifier 1 on the same day for a place in the final.
The winner of the Eliminator will then face the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2 for the other spot in the final.
The Nepal Premier League 2024 final is scheduled to be held on December 21.
All NPL 2024 matches will be played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Former India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan (Karnali Yaks), New Zealand duo of Martin Guptill (Biratnagar Kings) and James Neesham (Janakpur Bolts), Ben Cutting (Lumbini Lions), Bas De Leede and Andries Gous (Pokhara Avengers) are some of the well known international stars that will feature in the upcoming franchise T20 cricket league.
