The Punjab men’s cricket team will travel to Namibia for an unofficial One-Day International series starting July 3.
The first of the five-match ODI series between the two sides will be played at the Wanderers Cricket Ground in Windhoek on Wednesday, July 3.
The fifth and final ODI is slated to be played on July 10 with Windhoek hosting all five matches.
The Punjab Cricket Association has announced a 14-member squad that will travel to Namibia to take part in the ODI series.
Nehal Wedhara, Mayank Markande and Prabhsimran Singh are part of the Punjab squad that will gain exposure from the foreign tour.
Namibia was part of the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2024 held in the West Indies and the United States of America.
Placed in Group B alongside Australia, England, Scotland and Oman, Namibia could not progress beyond the group stage as they finished fourth in the group.
Namibia previously played Karnataka in five unofficial ODIs in June 2023. They lost the five-match series 2-3 against Karnataka.

There will be no live telecast of the Punjab vs Namibia ODI series on any TV channel in India.
