While Chanmarians Cricket Club (CHC) entered the final after beating Kulikawn Cricket Club by 28 runs, Chhinga Veng Cricket Club stormed into the summit clash after securing an eight-run win over Ramhlun Venglai Cricket Club in the second semi-final.
Chanmarians Cricket Club enter the Mizoram T20 2022 final as the most successful team in the tournament, having won nine of the 10 games in the league phase. One fixture ended without a result.
M Lalhruaizela (322 runs) and Bobby Zothansanga (16 wickets) have been the stand-out players for CHC and are poised to produce match-winning performances in the Mizoram T20 2022 final.
Chhinga Veng Cricket Club, on the other hand, finished third on the points table with 12 points from 10 matches. CVCC will bank on Sumit Lama (126 runs and 12 wickets) to help the team put on a confident fight against CHC.
The teams met just once this season, with Chanmarians Cricket Club claiming a seven-wicket win over Chhinga Veng Cricket Club in match 30. After restricting CVCC to 107/9 in 20 overs, CHC scored 113/3 in just 18.1 overs to end their group stage schedule on a positive note.
