Major League Cricket (MLC) 2024 began on Saturday, July 6 and ends on July 24 in the United States of America.
Operated by American Cricket Enterprises (ACE) and sanctioned by USA Cricket, the upcoming edition of MLC will feature six teams vying for the championship title.
Texas Super Kings, Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, and Washington Freedom are the six teams participating in MLC 2024.
This T20 tournament will feature a total of 25 matches, including the playoffs. Each team will play seven league games, with the top four sides at the end of the league stage advancing to the playoffs.
The playoffs will then begin with the Eliminator between the third and fourth-placed teams. The winner of the Eliminator moves on to the Challenger match against the loser of the Qualifier.
The winner of the Qualifier will witness the first and second-placed teams compete for direct entry to the final.
All matches are scheduled to take place at Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas and Church Street Park in North Carolina. The MLC 2024 final is scheduled for Monday, July 29, at Grand Prairie Stadium.
Defending champions MI New York began the ongoing edition of MLC with a six wicket win over Seattle Orcas.
However, Washington Freedom have looked like the strongest team in the tournament and qualified for the MLC 2024 playoffs after staying unbeaten in their first five games of the league.

Teams earn two points for a win and none for a loss. In case a match ends in no result due to inclement weather conditions, both sides get a point each.
Should teams be tied on points at the end of all the league stage games, the side with the better net run rate finishes higher in the standings.
