The Kenya Quadrangular Cup 2024 will start on June 28 and run till July 10 in Nairobi, Kenya.
Cricket Kenya are all set to host Zambia, Rwanda and Malawi’s men’s national teams for a T20 international tournament at home, with all the fixtures scheduled to be played in Nairobi.
Hosts Kenya are currently ranked 33rd in the ICC Men’s T20I rankings, while Malawi and Rwanda are placed 52nd and 62nd, respectively.
Zambia, having had their membership suspended at the International Cricket Council Annual General Meeting 2019, are no longer associated with the ICC after continued non-compliance with their membership criteria.
However, Zambia have accepted the invitation from Kenya and this event will mark their return to international cricket after almost five to six years.
As per the Kenya Quadrangular Cup 2024 schedule, hosts Kenya will take on Zambia in the tournament opener.
All sides will play each other twice in the 16 league-stage matches till July 8. Later, a third-place play-off game will be played on July 10 followed by the final on the same day.
All the Kenya Quadrangular Cup 2024 matches will be played at Aga Khan Sports Club Ground in Nairobi.
