The inaugural edition of the Kashmir Premier League 2021 is all set to start on Friday, August 6 at the Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK). All matches will be played at a single venue.
The league will feature six teams playing each other in a round-robin format with top international cricketers including Tillakaratne Dilshan, Shoaib Malik and Shahid Afridi in action.
The six teams competing in the inaugural edition of the league are Rawalakot Hawks, Kotli Lions, Mirpur Royals, Muzaffarabad Tigers, Overseas Warriors and Bagh Stallions.
The top four teams at the end of the group stage will qualify for the Kashmir Premier League playoffs. The Qualifier will be held on August 14 followed by Eliminator 1 and Eliminator 2 on August 15 and August 16 respectively.
The Kashmir Premier League will conclude with the grand finale on Tuesday, August 17.
