Sri Lanka Women have made just one change to their Asia Cup-winning squad with the inclusion of wicketkeeper-batter Kaushini Nuthyangana.

On the other hand, the Ireland women's national cricket team has announced their T20I squad to be led by captain Laura Delany.

Ireland Women will head into the series after they impressed in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Qualifier 2024.

The Laura Delany-led side reached the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Qualifier 2024 semi-finals before losing to Scotland by eight wickets.

The upcoming five-match multi-format white-ball series between Ireland Women and Sri Lanka will be the first competitive bilateral series, having met only seven times previously.
