India’s record against Ireland in the shortest format is sublime to say the least. The two teams have crossed paths on four occasions in T20 cricket and the Men in Blue have come out on top on every occasion. This includes their recent win in the rain-affected first T20I of the ongoing series.
Now, it’s not to say that India’s past form against Ireland makes them the favourites, but rather, it’s the quality of their roster. India’s bowling attack did fumble in the first match but as everybody expected, their batting unit delivered what was promised.

While Harry Tector was the star of the show for Ireland in the previous meeting, it is Ishan Kishan who gets our vote for the upcoming T20I. The 9.5-rated opener scored 26 runs off just 11 balls last time out, returning with a tally of 43 fantasy points. He is rightly expected to do better in the second match.
Top tip: Best bowler
Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal exploited the tricky conditions to perfection in the first match. While he returned with a solitary wicket, the fact remains that he gave away just 11 runs in his three overs. Given how difficult he proved out for Ireland, the wrist spinner could inflict serious damage on Tuesday. He will cost you 9 credits.
Top tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper
India captain Hardik Pandya is an outright pick for an all-rounder. The middle-order batter picked a wicket in the previous meeting and topped it up with a 12-ball 24 which was, in fact, a crucial innings. At 9.5 credits, he remains a strong recommendation for this contest.
Finally, for a wicket-keeper, Ireland’s Lorcan Tucker should be picked ahead of India’s Dinesh Karthik mostly because the 25-year-old bats higher up the order. This effectively means he could end up with more points as Karthik might not get a chance to bat anyway. At 8 credits, he is an absolute steal.
