ILT20 2024 starts on January 19: Get schedule and watch live in India

Organised by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB), the International League T20 2024 will begin on January 19. The month-long tournament will end on February 17. 

As many as six teams will participate in the second edition of ILT20. Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Vipers, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates and Sharjah Warriors are the six teams that will feature in this T20 league. 

A total of 34 T20s will be played across three venues. The tournament will follow a double round-robin format in the league stage ahead of an Eliminator, the two Qualifiers and the Final. 

At the end of the league stage, the top four teams in the standings will qualify for the playoffs. The top two teams from the points table will play in Qualifier 1 for a spot in the grand finale while the third and fourth-placed teams will compete in the Eliminator for the other spot in the final. 

The winner of Qualifier 1 will proceed directly to the final, while the losing team from Qualifier 1 will meet the winning team from the Eliminator in Qualifier 2 ahead of the final. 

The Sharjah Cricket Stadium will host the tournament opener where Sharjah Warriors will take on Gulf Giants. 

The final of the competition will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Apart from these two venues, the third stadium which will host matches in ILT20 2024 is Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. 

Gulf Giants are the defending champions of the inaugural edition of ILT20. They won the 2023 final convincingly against Desert Vipers by seven wickets.
