Kolkata beat Rajasthan by 86 runs in match 54 of the Indian T20 League at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Chasing a target of 172 for victory, Rajasthan were never in the chase as they were reduced to 17/4 by the end of the powerplay. Shivam Mavi and Lockie Ferguson were the wreckers in chief as the duo combined to pick up seven wickets in the match.
Rahul Tewatia was the only bright spark for Rajasthan as the southpaw scored a valiant 44 off 36 balls.
The victory has put Kolkata on the brink of qualification for the knockout stages of the Indian T20 League 2021.
