That's the winning run!
Deepak Chahar has scored the winning run for Chennai after a Ravindra Jadeja onslaught. Chennai had lost the plot in the middle overs but Jadeja turned it around in some style.
Chennai win the match by two wickets and that's three wins in three for them as they go at the top of the table.
Disappointing for Sunil Narine who bowled a fantastic over in the end.
Brief scores:
Chennai: 172/8
Kolkata: 171/6
Last minute drama!
Sunil Narine catches Ravindra Jadeja off guard and the umpire has raised his finger. Jadeja calls in for a quick review.
Tracker shows it's catching the stumps and Jadeja has to go. One run needed of the final delivery.
Clever from Shardul
That was one clever shot from Shardul Thakur and Chennai are just one run away from victory.
Curran departs
Unnecessary stuff from Sam Curran. He was looking for a big finish, but is caught at the deep. Narine takes his second wicket of the evening.
Four runs needed off the final five deliveries.
Jadeja seems to be enjoying the pressure
That's four more and Chennai now need just four runs of the final over.
In case you are wondering, Jadeja has scored 22 runs in just six deliveries.
Chennai: 168/6 after 19 overs.
Jadeja turning it around
Back to back sixes from Ravindra Jadeja and the game is heading towards a grand finale. That was a biggie from the all-rounder.
What an over for Chennai. What a performance from Jadeja. Chennai now need eight of the final seven deliveries.
End of 18th over
That's the end of the 18th over and Chennai are still 26 runs short. The likes of Sunil Narine and Prasidh Krishna still have one over left.
Chennai 146/6 after 18 overs.
Poor from Chennai
Chennai have scored a mere 15 runs in the last 15 balls while losing three wickets. That's Doni, Raina and Moeen Ali.
Thala walking back!
Chennai have crumbled. MS Dhoni is walking back after being clean bowled by Varun Chakravarthy. Surely Kolkata have won it now; unless Ravindra Jadeja does something miraculous.
