India face West Indies in five-match T20I series - watch live

After clinching both the Test and ODI series, the Indian cricket team will conclude their tour of West Indies with a five-match T20I series starting on Thursday, August 3. 

India will head into the T20I format high on confidence after thrashing West Indies by 200 runs in the third and final ODI to bag the three-match series 2-1.

As per the India tour of West Indies 2023 schedule, the first T20I will be played at Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba. The second and third T20Is are scheduled to be held at Providence Stadium in Guyana.

Both India and West Indies will later travel to the United States to play the remaining two T20Is of the five-match series at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf, Florida.

The visitors have excluded senior batters Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli from the 15-man Indian T20I squad.

Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya will lead the young Indian T20I side, while Suryakumar Yadav has been named his deputy.

Rising stars Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tilak Varma have received their maiden T20I call-up. Wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson, pacer Avesh Khan and Axar Pate alsol have returned to the squad.

On the other hand, the West Indies cricket team will be led by Rovman Powell in the upcoming T20I series.

The hosts have recalled ODI captain Shai Hope and fast bowler Oshane Thomas to their squad.
