The newly renovated Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad is all set to host its first day-night Test match when India take on England in the third of the four-match series starting Wednesday, February 24.

After two Test matches, the series is currently tied at 1-1, with the visitors winning the first match by 227 runs and the Indian cricket team levelling the series by winning the second game by 317 runs at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. Watch India vs England 3rd Test match live.

The world’s largest cricket stadium, Motera can accommodate as many as 110,000 fans, but for the third Test, the state association of Gujarat has decided to allow 50 per cent spectators. Both India and England have made a host of changes to the squad for the third Test.

While Umesh Yadav makes his return in place of Shardul Thakur for India, England will welcome the likes of Jonny Bairstow, Zak Crawley and Mark Wood.

This will be India’s second pink-ball Test at home.
