India will take on Bangladesh in the Women’s U19 Asia Cup 2024 final at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Sunday, December 22.

Led by Niki Prasad, India booked their place in the Women’s U19 Asia Cup 2024 final after beating Sri Lanka by four wickets in their Super Four clash at the Bayuemas Oval on Friday.
Electing to field first, India Women U19 outfit restricted Sri Lanka to 98/9 in their 20 overs.
Left-arm spinner Aayushi Shukla was the wrecker-in-chief for India with figures of 4/10. For Sri Lanka, captain Manudi Nanayakkara top-scored for Sri Lanka with 33 while wicketkeeper-batter Sumudu Nisansala added 21.
In reply, Gongadi Trisha (32) and G Kamalini (28) helped India chase down the target in 14.5 overs to register a four-wicket win in Kuala Lumpur.
India previously defeated Bangladesh by eight wickets in their Super Four encounter on Thursday.
With three wins while another game ended with no result, India Women U19 side finished on top of Super Four stage with seven points to qualify for the final of the inaugural Women’s U19 Asia Cup.
Earlier, India topped Group A standings with three points from two games.
On the other hand, Bangladesh thrashed Nepal by nine wickets in their Super Four clash to storm into the Women’s U19 Asia Cup 2024 final after finishing second in the Super Four standings.
Bangladesh restricted Nepal to 54/8 in an 11-overs-a-side game. Farjana Easmin, Anisa Akter Soba, Fahomida Choya and Habiba Islam picked up one wicket each for Bangladesh.
Later, Fahomida Choya (26 not out), Mosammat Eva (18) and Sumaiya Akther (10 not out) helped Bangladesh chase down the target in 9.5 overs.
Previously, Bangladesh also beat Sri Lanka and Malaysia to top Group B standings with four points from two matches.
