Earlier, Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara also scored 91 and 56 runs respectively.
An outstanding knock from Shubman Gill comes to an end on 91. The elegant batsman misses out on a maiden ton. He batted for 146 balls, hit 8x4, 2x6 and shared a 114-run stand with Pujara. #TeamIndia #AUSvIND

India had many players injured, but what has been injured more has been the Australian arrogance & pride.

The test series has been like a movie with every member of Indian Team being a hero & some of them Superheroes.

Earlier in the series, the hosts had won the pink-ball Adelaide Test while India bounced back with a victory in Melbourne. The third Test in Sydney had ended in a draw.
Interestingly, India had won a historic Test series in Australia two years back and now the Ajinkya Rahane-led side has clinched back-to-back series Down Under.
