Team India will face South Africa in the third ODI of the South Africa Tour of India 2022 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday, October 11. The match will commence at 1:30 PM IST.
IND vs SA third ODI Dream11 prediction
After an agonising loss in the first ODI, Team India bounced back in style to defeat the Proteas by seven wickets in the second ODI, making the final ODI a series decider.
With one eye on next year’s 50-over World Cup, Sanju Samson and Shreyas Iyer’s stellar form is welcome news for India. The duo will look to continue their form and cement their place in the ODI team.
On the other hand, South Africa’s defeat in the previous fixture further jeopardised their chances of direct qualification for World Cup 2023. Thus, a win in the final ODI will be crucial for them as they cannot afford to lose more ground in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League standings.
Nonetheless, analysing the recent performances of the two teams, the hosts are the favourites to win the final ODI, which will also help stand-in captain Shikhar Dhawan clinch his third consecutive ODI series as a skipper.
IND vs SA third T20I Dream11 team tips
Top tip: Best batter
Team India batter Shreyas Iyer will be a no-brainer pick among batters. The 27-year-old has been in superb form as he scored a fifty in the first match followed by a brilliant 111-ball 113* in the last game. Moreover, he is the leading run-scorer in the series with 163 runs. The 8.5-credit man can be a captaincy favourite too, given his form.
Top tip: Best bowler
Kagiso Rabada will be a good pick from the bowling department. The right-arm pacer has been the lead bowler for the Proteas in this series, picking up three wickets in two encounters at a respectable economy of 5.27. Available for 9.0 credits, he has the potential to bowl maiden overs and has three to show for it. With the ownership of more than 80% of the fantasy teams, he is the most selected bowler by fantasy managers.
Top tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper
Shardul Thakur is our recommendation from the all-rounders’ section. The bowling all-rounder has picked up three wickets so far in this series. The 8.5-credit all-rounder also scored a steady 31-ball 33 in the first ODI and can contribute with important runs towards the toe end of the innings.
Sanju Samson will be the go-to pick from the wicket-keeper role. Samson’s mature knock of 86* off 63 balls in the first ODI went in vain after the visitors emerged victorious by nine runs. However, he played a gritty 36-ball 30* In the previous ODI to take India over the line. The 8.5-credit player can prove to be an intelligent pick for any fantasy manager.
