The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier A 2024 will start on September 21 and run till September 26 in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.
Organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier A 2024 will see as many as six teams compete in a total of 15 matches across six days.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier A 2024 is part of the qualification process for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 to be hosted by Sri Lanka and India.
Hosts Tanzania, Cameroon, Ghana, Lesotho, Malawi and Mali are the teams that will feature in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier A 2024.
As per the schedule, each team will play the other five sides once in a single round-robin format.
The top two teams from the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier A will qualify for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Regional Final 2025, which is part of the qualification pathway for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026.
All matches of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier A 2024 will be played at Gymkhana Club Ground and University of Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania.
