The ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League 2024-26 will start on September 25 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League 2024-26 will see as many as 12 teams compete in a total of 90 matches.

The ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League 2024-26 is the second edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League and is part of the Cricket World Cup 2027 qualification process.

The league features 12 teams including those that finished 2nd-4th in their respective leagues during the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League 2019-22, the top four teams from the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League Play-off 2024, and two teams from the Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off.

As per the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League 2024-26 format, these teams have been divided into two groups of six teams each.

Denmark, Jersey, Kenya, Kuwait, Papua New Guinea and Qatar are clubbed in Challenge League A while Bahrain, Hong Kong China, Italy, Singapore, Tanzania and Uganda are placed in Challenge League B.

Each group will compete three times in a single round-robin tournament format, once each year from 2024 to 2026. Each team will play 15 matches each, making it a total of 90 matches.

The top two teams from each group will secure a spot at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier Playoff.

In the previous Challenge League, Canada were promoted to League 2 status after they won League A while Papua New Guinea were relegated.

Live streaming of the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League 2024-26 will be available on the FanCode app and website.

There will be no live telecast of the ICC CWC Challenge League 2024-26 on any TV channel in India.
