Gozo (GOZ) kick off their ECS T10 Malta 2021 campaign against Super Kings (SKI) in the 13th match of the tournament at the Marsa Sports Complex on Thursday, June 17.

While Gozo will play their first game of the season, Super Kings have already played two matches in the tournament so far, winning both of them. Hence, SKI will undoubtedly come to the fixture as the favourites.
SKI sit atop the Group B points table with four points from two games and a net run rate of 5.250. Mater Dei (MTD) and Swieqi United (SWU) sit in the fourth and fifth spot respectively, having lost both their opening matches.

Top tip: Best batsmen
Gozo will rely upon their batsman Ajeesh Antony to provide them with a strong start with his years of experience in the T20 circuit. The 33-year-old top-order batsman could be a handy pick for fantasy team owners, although Antony is yet to show his mettle in the ECS tournament.
Super Kings, on the other hand, have found a stable opener in Gopal Chaturvedi. The 37-year-old has tallied 35 runs in the first two games and has garnered 52 fantasy points already. Fantasy team owners will expect him to continue his form against Gozo.
Top tip: Best bowlers
Coming to the tournament with a relatively new team, Gozo are yet to experiment with their bowling combinations. However, Janak Bhandari could be a decent player to have in one's fantasy team from the GOZ camp.
SKI's Ashok Bishnoi was one of their strike bowlers in the last match against SWU, where he picked two wickets in two overs and conceded 16 runs. Bishnoi could be a good pick against Gozo.
Top tip: All-rounder and wicket-keeper
If there has been a player from the Super Kings camp who has proven his all-around abilities, it is Varun Prasath. After scoring a blistering 63 runs in the first match on Tuesday against SWU, he returned with bowling figures of 2/9 in the second match. Prasath has 259 fantasy points in just two matches and is a must-have in any fantasy team.
Super Kings' Affy Khan will be a decent wicket-keeping option. Apart from his duties from behind the stumps, the middle-order batsman has scored 33 runs in two games. He is expected to fetch the bonus points.
