FTX Trading Limited announced a global partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday. 

FTX is now the official cryptocurrency exchange partner for all ICC events starting from the T20 World Cup 2021 until the 50-over Cricket World Cup in India in 2023. 

The major ICC tournaments that will be covered in this two-year partnership include the Cricket World Cup and T20 World Cup (Men and Women), Men’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup and Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers. 

“It is an honour to be a part of the men’s and women’s cricket tournaments and we look forward to building a strong relationship with the International Cricket Council in the years to come,” Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO and Founder of FTX said.

FTX is a cryptocurrency exchange that specialises in trading derivatives (a financial instrument) among others. It also supports the most commonly traded cryptocurrencies.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 is set to start on Sunday, October 17.
