The fourth edition of the Everest Premier League will begin on September 25 and will run till October 9. Six franchises will battle it out for the title in Nepal’s biggest domestic cricket league with all the matches to be played at the TU Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur.
The tournament will be played in a round-robin and knockout format and will attract a host of international stars like Shahid Afridi, Tamim Iqbal, Dinesh Chandimal, Upul Tharanga, Kesrick Williams, and Mohammad Shahzad.
The now defunct team Panchakanya Tej won the title in the inaugural season in 2016 followed by Biratnagar Warriors in 2017. Lalitpur Patriots are the defending champions having won the title in 2018. The tournament was put on hold in 2019 and 2020.
