The European Cricket Championship-W 2024 is scheduled to start on December 9 and run till December 20 in Malaga, Spain.
Organised by the European Cricket Network (ECN), the European Cricket Championship-W 2024 will see as many as 10 teams compete in 46 T10 matches in the second edition of the tournament.
These teams have been divided into two divisions - Challenger Division and Premier Division. The ECC-W Challenger 2024 will be held from December 9-14 while the ECC-W Premier 2024 will be staged from December 15-20.
Hosts Spain, Austria, Czechia, Germany and Jersey will compete for the ECC-W Challenger Division title. Meanwhile, the likes of England XI, Ireland XI, Italy, Netherlands XI and Scotland XI will battle for the ECC-W Premier Division title.
As per the European Cricket Championship-W 2024 schedule, each team will play the other four sides in their respective division twice in a double round-robin format.
The table-topper of each division after all league matches will directly qualify for the final. The third and fourth-placed teams will square off in the Eliminator while the second-placed side will face the winner of the Eliminator in the Qualifier for the other spot in both divisions.
All European Cricket Championship-W 2024 matches will be played at the Cartama Oval in Malaga, Spain.
England XI won the inaugural edition of the European Cricket Women's Championship after beating Netherlands Women by 17 runs in the 2023 final.
Where to watch European Cricket Championship-W 2024 live in India
Live streaming of the European Cricket Championship-W 2024 will be available on the FanCode app and website in India.
There will be no live telecast of the women’s T10 tournament on any TV channel in India.
