The European Cricket Championship 2022 will start on September 12 and run till October 14.
As many as 21 national teams will participate in the second edition of the European Cricket Championship, playing a total of 120 games in Spain.
England XI head into the second edition as defending champions, having defeated Belgium in the final last year. There are 20 other nations that have been divided into four groups of five each. Each group will feature 24 T10 games which include a double robin-round format and playoffs. The top team from each group along with reigning champions England XI will advance to the Championship Week scheduled between October 10-14.
The first week of the European Cricket Championship 2022 will feature matches across Group A between September 12-16. Whereas Group B and Group C matches will be held between September 19-23 and September 26-30, respectively. Meanwhile, Group D matches are scheduled to be played between October 3-7.
All the matches of the month-long tournament will be played at the Cartama Cricket Oval in Malaga.
